In an old pumpingstation, derksen|windt architects has realized a bed and breakfast where we have preserved the monumental character on the outside as well as on the inside. The original pump that covered the entire space had already been replaced by a more modern one, but this too had lost its function. To preserve the old identity of the pumpingstation, we have retained this pump and integrated it into the interior.
